Hi! I’m Sky Benson, a muralist and fine artist located in Savannah GA. My main passion is designing and executing large super-graphic murals for homes and businesses.

As a former professional scenic artist in the Atlanta film industry I’ve painted murals on commercials and shows for Apple+, and CBS just to name a few. While in the film industry I not only honed my skills at basic interior painting, I learned new techniques for faux finishes, and large scale murals. Most importantly painting film sets elevated my attention to detail and sharpened my skills; invaluable lessons I’ve been using for years now to execute professional, high quality, hand-painted murals for my own clients.

I love many different styles of art but a few favorites include Bauhaus, Retro Futurism, Pop Art, and Neo-Abstraction. I especially love researching vintage graphic design and advertising for patterns that inspire me.

I also enjoy painting on canvas and wood cutouts, old school enamel sign painting, making mixed media sculptures, and up-cycling furniture. If I’m not making art I’m either skateboarding poorly, being a Savannah foodie, playing with my cats, feeding the neighborhood strays, or at the beach with family and friends.
