How much is a mural?
Typical murals are priced by sqft.
Each project is unique and price per sqft ranges between $12-$17. Where your project falls in that range is based on a number of factors, included but not limited to:
-intricacy of design
-lettering
-surface texture
-interior or exterior
-Turn around time
-condition of the surface
To find your walls sqft simply take the length of your wall and the height of your wall and multiply them together.
What do you need in order to give me an accurate quote?
The size of your mural and surface texture are crucial to getting your quote in the correct range. I can also discuss designing within your given budget.
Explain your design fee and deposit process
Your total deposit is broken into two parts totaling 50% before you’re officially on the schedule and paint hits the wall.
10% of your deposit is required to begin your murals design.
If you require multiple designs to choose from, each additional mural concept is priced at an additional 10% the cost of your mural.
For example: your mural cost $1000 so the design deposit would be $100 but you would like to choose from two completely different mural ideas, so instead your design deposit is $200 meaning your projects total is now $1100.
You will be shown a digital render of your mural design that we may adjust as needed. Scaling objects, changing colors, tweaking shapes and object placement etc is free. It will be up to my discretion as to when tweaks become whole new concepts requiring an additional design deposit.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for the design process.
40% of your deposit is required to add you to my calendar once you have approved your design.
Design fees and deposits are non refundable.
What’s a change order?
Change orders are additional charges that happen when you make changes to your mural after the design has already been approved or changes to the already agreed upon dates / times that your mural is to be painted.
